Lamp Projects Holograms Without Needing Glasses
Can a lamp projects holograms without needing glasses? The Hololamp can render 3D images on your desktop. No need for any glasses or headsets. It uses a special camera system to track your viewpoint. It keeps adjusting the projected image as your perspective changes. Some projections can interact with the environment.
Is it a full “proper” hologram? Probably not. Flat. 2D imagery with a play on perspective to make it appear holographic? More likely. Now let’s try this again on a portable tablet or series of emitters where the object is actually extending upward and perpendicular to the surface it is projected on. A full 3D object.
Crowdfunding starts soon for the hololamp.
