Video games are a hobby enjoyed by a huge amount of people all over the world. No matter what your hobbies, preferences, or interests are, there is sure to be a game you will love. There are puzzle games, shooters, sports games, adventure games, and so much more. While there are plenty of wonderful games out there, there are some in particular that really have people excited. With that in mind, here are a few games that we are sure most people will adore playing in 2023.

Gunfire Reborn

While not a new game (as it was released in late 2021), Gunfire Reborn is an incredibly unique and exciting game that is only going to get better in 2023. It mixes the thrilling action of a first-person shooter, with the excitement and unpredictability of a roguelike.

It has a very addicting gameplay loop and offers a new experience every time you play it. 2023 is fitting to be a very big year for the game, as they add new game modes, bosses, characters, weapons, and more.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

With its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, often being voted as the best game of all time, the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom has fans incredibly excited. It is coming out in May 2023, and while not a ton is known about it as of yet, if it is anything like its prequel, it should be a massive hit.

It is likely to feature a large and lively open world that allows players a ton of freedom to explore and take on whatever challenge they wish. While it has a lot to live up to, many believe it will be just as incredible as Breath of the Wild.

Starfield

With Starfield first being announced in 2018, it is finally set to release in the first half of 2023. This is one of the most ambitious titles Bethesda has ever created, and their first new IP created in over two decades.

The game has been described as “Skyrim in space”, which has fans salivating. It should have a brilliant world, a cast of exciting characters, and a ton of customization options. The game will be able to be played in both first and third-person and should have a well-thought-out backstory and narrative.

Kerbal Space Program 2

With the original Kerbal Space Program released in 2011, the sequel is finally set to arrive in early 2023. The game is set to play similarly to the original, which focused on players setting up their own space program, and building/flying spacecraft through a massive world.

However, they are also adding things like habitation modules, planetary colonies, interstellar travel, and even a multiplayer aspect. For those who love space flight simulation, or simply love to explore, this will be a must-play in 2023.

Alan Wake 2

The original Alan Wake game was released back in 2010, and since then fans have been waiting for a sequel to the action-adventure masterpiece. They will finally get it sometime in 2023. Like the original, fans hope for an intense story full of twists and cliffhangers to leave gamers wanting to keep playing until they fully unravel the mystery. It is said to be more of a survival horror game than the original, which only had horror elements.

The original has an outstanding soundtrack, and great and unique pacing, and the world and atmosphere in the game are truly spectacular. While there isn’t a ton out about Alan Wake 2 yet, we can hope that it builds on the great base and foundation that the original has laid.
