Batman 75th Anniversary – The Dark Knight Rises!

Batman made his debut in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939, and since then he has appeared in countless comics, TV shows, movies, and video games. He is a pop culture phenomenon that has inspired generations of fans.

To celebrate Batman’s 75th anniversary, DC Comics is releasing a special anniversary issue of Detective Comics, as well as a number of other special editions featuring Batman’s greatest stories. There will also be a series of events and exhibitions celebrating the Dark Knight.
