DoctorWho Series11 – New Teaser Trailer – The Doctor Who TV Show is making ground breaking history this August 2018, as for the very First time a Female Doctor has been cast as the 13th Doctor Who.After 5 x Decades of Male Dominance we think this new addition to the line up is a great idea & a breathe of fresh air !! DoctorWho Series11  – Meet the Beautiful New Doctor Jodie Whittaker 35 , she has just been announced as the  13th Time Lord – the first woman in the history of the TV Show to get the role.

The Broadchurch star will take over from the delightful Peter Capaldi, who took the role in 2013 and leaves in this year’s Christmas special 2017.

Jodie Whittaker  first came to prominence for her 2006 feature film debut Venus, for which she received a British Independent Film Award and Satellite Award nominations.

She also  later starred in roles in the cult science fiction film Attack the Block,the Black Mirror episode “The Entire History of You” (2011), and as grieving mother Beth Latimer in Chris Chibnall’s TV series Broadchurch (2013–2017).

The eleventh series of the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who is set to premiere in 2018, and will consist of ten episodes. The series will be the first to be led by Chris Chibnall as head writer and executive producer, alongside executive producers Matt Strevens and Sam Hoyle, after Steven Moffat and Brian Minchin stepped down after the tenth series. DoctorWho Series 11 will be the eleventh to air following the programme’s revival in 2005, and will be the thirty-seventh season overall. It also marks the beginning of the third production era of the revived series, following Russell T. Davies’ run from 2005–2010, and Moffat’s from 2010–2017.

DoctorWho Series 11 will introduce Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor, the most recent incarnation of the Doctor, an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space in her TARDIS, which appears to be a British police box on the outside. DoctorWho Series 11 will also introduce Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, and Mandip Gill as the Doctor’s newest companions, Graham, Ryan, and Yasmin, respectively. Filming for the DoctorWho Series 11 commenced in November 2017 and is scheduled for an August 2018 start..
