Avalanche Software’s Hogwarts Legacy is a forthcoming action role-playing video game that will be distributed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Portkey Games label. It is based on the Harry Potter franchise and is situated in the Wizarding World universe. Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S will all receive the game in late 2022.

Hogwarts Legacy is a film set in the late 1800s that follows a Hogwarts student. As a fifth-year student, the player arrives at Hogwarts late. The user can select their House and enrol in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry programmes, as well as explore an open area that includes the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village. Casting magical spells, brewing potions, taming magical monsters, and mastering fighting talents will all be learned by the player character. In the game, there is a morality system. Players can also change the voice, body type, wand type, and gender of their character.
