Tim Drake was in the audience of a circus when the family of Flying Grayson’s trapeze artists was murdered, and where he witnessed Batman jump into the scene.
Inspired by Batman’s heroism, he eventually deduced the duo’s secret identities using self-taught detective skills, Tim persuaded Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson that a new Robin was needed in the never-ending battle for justice and eventually took over as the third Robin.
