Mob Psycho 100 bl – Mob & Reigen – Short Fan Film animation

ONE is the author and illustrator of the Japanese comic series Mob Psycho 100. From April 2012 until December 2017, it was serialised on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website. Since December 2014, it has also been available online through Shogakukan’s mobile app MangaONE. Shogakukan published sixteen tankbon volumes containing the chapters.

Bones has made an anime television series adaption. The first season aired from July to September 2016, and the second season aired from January to April 2019. The show has been renewed for a third season. From January to April 2018, a live-action adaptation aired. In 2018, the Shogakukan MangaONE app serialised a spin-off manga series called Reigen.

Dark Horse Comics licenced the manga for English publication in North America in 2018. In the meantime, Crunchyroll licenced the anime series for streaming in December 2016, with an English dub created by Bang Zoom! Entertainment, and it was broadcast on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in October 2018.

As of July 2016, Mob Psycho 100 had sold over 1.2 million copies. The comic was awarded the 62nd Shogakukan Manga Award in the shnen category in 2017.

Shigeo Kageyama is an ordinary middle school student who has earned the moniker Mob (, Mobu, wasei eigo for “background character”) for his lack of presence. Despite his unassuming appearance, he is a formidable esper with incredible psychic abilities. To keep from losing control of his strength, he lives in constant emotional restraint.

Mob works as an assistant to con-man Reigen Arataka, a self-proclaimed spirit medium, in order to learn how to control his skills. Mob simply wants to live a normal life like everyone else, but he’s constantly being pursued by problems. Mob’s power threatens to break through its bounds as he ultimately encounters other espers, as his suppressed emotions develop inside him.
