“What do you see?” That’s a question posed in this premier trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The Last Jedi: Teaser Trailer Debuted at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017.
Directed by Rian Johnson, the next “Star Wars” film will continue the episodic story of new characters Rey. Rey carries on her epic journey with Luke, Finn, Poe and BB8. The trailer quickly climbed YouTube’s trending videos chart as you can imagine. Christmas can’t come soon enough for us! Please for the love of god give Luke Skywalker a lightsaber battle in this movie. That’s all we care about.
If you have surround sound headphones and If you turn it up a fair bit, when they show the back of Princess Leia, you can hear the “Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi” line. Then the next shot when they show the broken Kylo Ren mask, you can hear Vader breathing. Then in the shot after that right before Rey touching the Jedi logo, you can hear Yoda saying “the last of the Jedi will you be.” Does that mean we’re getting some force ghosts??
We think the time of the Sith and Jedi are over. “Light. Darkness. A Balance. It’s so much bigger. Luke is saying the Jedi must end… This mean we’re getting force users (Rey etc.) that use both the light and dark side?
Here’s another theory, we think that Luke is saying if the Jedi end, then the Sith, Knights of Ren, or other dark side users will cease to rise. The fallacy of the Jedi is that it brings unbalance to The Force… and in order for The Force to stay balanced, both entities exist or do not exist. In the world of Star Wars, there will always be force sensitives, but if there is an extreme user, it will birth the opposite extreme user.
